How to find Hotel-Guesthouse Goldenberg***

Driving to Klosterneuburg: Klosterneuburg, the oldest Babenberg city, is located only 12 km outside Vienna at the edge of the Vienna Woods. Arriving from the west, you can reach Klosterneuburg over the Westautobahn. Taking the exit “St. Christophen”, and driving through the Tullnerfeld, Klosterneuburg is approximately 45 min. away. Arriving from the south, east or north, it is best to drive through Vienna on the expressway along the Danube.

By Plane: Nearest airport: Vienna-Schwechat. Take the expressway to the train station Wien-Mitte, travelling on with the subway to the station Heiligenstadt and with the bus to Klosterneuburg. Furthermore, taxis are at your disposal or you can order our hotel taxi upon request.

By Bus and Car: Take the Westautobahn to the exit St. Christophen, over the B19 via Tulln-Klosterneuburg.

Alternative: At the end of the Westautobahn, look out for the sign post: Höhenstraße. The Höhenstraße, a road which runs from Klosterneuburg to the Leopold and Kahlenberg hills, provides a scenic drive through wooded areas with splendid, panoramic views over the entire urban area of Klosterneuburg and the federal capital city of Vienna. The road furthermore serves as an ideal connection to Vienna, across which one can reach the western exit of Vienna while avoiding traffic jams.

If you are arriving from the south – you can take the Südautobahn, followed by the Südosttangente – B 22 – Nordbrücke – B 14, to Klosterneuburg.

From the Wachau: Cross the Danube Bridge (Donaubrücke) in Tulln to the right bank of the Danube. Alternatively: take the Wien-Nordbrücke to the right bank of the Danube, and subsequently the B 14 to Klosterneuburg.
